WILD addresses a common imbalance in yoga practitioners and targets muscle and therefore joint stability. Yoga has a reputation for being about stretching, but we need to balance flexibility with strength if we are to stay healthy. Being too flexible is an imbalance and WILD addresses this imbalance, while challenging even the strongest student.

Learn this unique class which is the modern blend of yoga and strength training. Discover aspects of Kundalini yoga, pranayama, ballet conditioning, resistance stretching, HIIT timing for stamina and the incredible power of “Slow” strength training as well the strength building poses of yoga. Discover how constant movement allows the body to make micro adjustments and increase flexibility safely and effectively. Learn the “fire breath” to oxygenate the body and cleanse the nervous system.

Wild develops strong lean muscle, without wearing out the joints as many cardio vascular practises do and shines a light on often neglected areas such as lower abdominals, hip flexors, triceps, pecs, lats, calves and glutes.

Course Outcomes


  • Learn how to teach poses that develop muscular strength and joint stability through simple functional movements. 

  • Teach exercises that free up the spine and allow the body’s internal energies to move freely.

  • Learn this entry level class that attracts men as well as those who might not approach a classical yoga class.

  • Understand the science behind HIIT, Super Slow® Strength Training, Fire Breath and Kundalini.

  • Learn how to teach effective core strengtheners, upper body and arm strengthening poses, and exercises that condition the psoas, glutes and spine. 

  • Learn how to modify for both very strong and very weak students. Practise how to bring a sense of fun, freedom and enthusiasm to your teaching.
